- Open the Lyft App: While you’re on the trip, open the Lyft app on your smartphone.
- Tap on the Destination Bar: You should see your current destination listed on the screen. Tap on this destination bar to modify it.
- Enter New Destination: A prompt will appear allowing you to input a new address. Enter the new destination you’d like to go to.
- Confirm the Change: Once you’ve entered the new address, confirm the change. The app will update the route, and your driver will be notified of the new destination.
- Check Fare Update (if applicable): Keep in mind that changing your destination might adjust the fare based on the new route. The app should display any fare changes when you update the destination.
